Migos are already breaking records in the new year.
After the release of their latest album, “Culture II,” the trio tied the Beatles for most simultaneous entries in the Billboard Hot 100 among groups, with 14.
The Fab Four accomplished this feat on the week of April 11, 1964, and held the No. 1 spot with “Can’t Buy Me Love.” The week before they became the first act to hold the top five positions on the chart.
Besides the Beatles and Migos, no other group has charted more than nine songs at once, with the “Glee” Cast being the last to do so in 2011. However, Drake still holds the record among all artists, with 24 entries after the release of “More Life” in 2017.
“Culture II” also recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, being Migos’ second album to do so, the first being “Culture” in 2017.
